Community Information

About Ocean Hills

Ocean Hills is a unique 55 and older community in Oceanside, California which is reminiscent of a Mediterranean village with its red tile roofs and white stucco.

Ocean Hills is located within the Ocean Hills Country Club which offers 1,623 homes that were built over 350 acres. There are 17 models to choose from with a variety of one and two story detached single family homes as well as twin homes. Living space ranges from 921 to 2,800 square feet. Home owners can opt for a fairway patio, a spacious backyard, or an ocean view. Most of the homes have a two car garage.

The Ocean Hills Country Club features an 18-hole golf course that is accessible to residents without fees. Amenities also include a junior-Olympic sized swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, croquet lawns, and shuffleboard courts. The clubhouse has locker rooms, a fitness center, library, billiards room, sewing room, club rooms, and crafts room. There are parks throughout the community for both people and dogs. And there is a walking trail that covers two and a half miles.

There are many shopping centers in this region like Town Center North, The Shoppes at Carlsbad, and Mission Marketplace.

The beach city of Oceanside is San Diego County’s third largest. It forms a tri-city area with Vista and Carlsbad and is located south of the United States Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton. There are many sights to take in like the Oceanside Pier, Mount Ecclesia, The California Surf Museum, and Race Across America, a 3,000 mile bicycle race. Every May, the city holds The Beach Soccer Championships which is the largest event of its kind of the west coast. This is also the home of the Sunset Market for local vendors and the World’s Largest Women’s Surf competition.
